Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Crystal Oasis Luncheon Club C.I.C is a community-led organisation supporting older adults in South Norwood. We provide weekly meals, creative activities, and social connection for people who may be isolated, bereaved, or living with long-term health conditions. Our aim is simple: to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and build a caring community where friendships flourish.

Our Story

Crystal Oasis Luncheon Club CIC was created with a simple but powerful vision — to bring people together through warmth, nourishment, and community.

What started as a small idea quickly grew into a welcoming space where individuals, particularly older adults and those at risk of isolation, could connect, share meals, and feel a sense of belonging. We recognised that for many, something as simple as a hot meal and a friendly conversation can make a meaningful difference to their day.

At Crystal Oasis, we believe that community is built around the table. Our luncheon club is more than just food — it’s about laughter, companionship, and creating moments that matter. From shared stories to new friendships, every gathering is an opportunity to uplift and support one another.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our mission is rooted in social impact. We are committed to promoting wellbeing, reducing loneliness, and providing a safe, inclusive environment for all who walk through our doors.

Over time, Crystal Oasis has grown into a hub of connection, bringing together volunteers, partners, and members of the community who all share a common goal to make a positive difference.

We are proud of how far we’ve come, but our journey is just beginning. With every meal served and every smile shared, we continue to build a stronger, more connected community.
